You enter in the salon with 2 fauteuils and a 2 p sofabed (140 Cm), equipped with television, DVD reader and hifi. Cold evenings you will warm by the woodstove; wood is furnished. The kitchen is completely equipped : dishwasher, washingmachine, microwave, fridge, freezer, coffeemachine,waterboiler,vacuumcleaner, etc. ) gaz and ceramic cooker /oven) You'll dispose over all linen for two weeks (sheets, towels, etc..). There is telephone, Wifi and "Orange"television. la Fare lies at 6 kilometers from Saint Germain de Calberte village, with baker, postoffice, 2 groceries, bar-restaurant, poste, 3 nurses, catholic and protestant church, gardeningshop/multi-service, touristoffice, and several local produces and craftsmen. The hamlet of FarePerched on a peak, the hamlet
profits from an exceptional exposure and a varied flora
and fauna. The hamlet is

About thirty men of the resistance, Alerted by local peasants, could escape just in time from the militia attack of February the 12th, 1944, who dynamited all the houses of the hamlet. La Fare remained in the state of ruins until 1990, when some young people undertook its restoration. Today, it is habited by about 20 inhabitants, of which the half resides there all year round. | |
