A little Cevennes castle of the late 14^thand 18^th century, nicely hided in the mountains of the Cévennes, well protected from the wind.
Le Cauvel forms a veritably hamlet with it's several annexes.

In accordance with your mood you can find total tranquillity, or meet someone at one of the numerous idyllic places ; inside or outside, in the sunshine or in the shadow of the pergola.

You certainly will be pleased to light the fire in the fire-place of the spacious living with books at your disposal.
Tea, herb teas, coffee, picnic, everything is possible in the little kitchen-corner especially made for this purpose.


Our guestrooms are situated in an exceptional and protected environment. There is equipment to observe, and a lot of information to know some more about nature available: maps, guides and binders about the region, faune, flore, etc. If you want to be informed about the natural, historical and cultural patrimony of the Cevennes we're are entirely at your disposal.
